In his first role as KBA Classic XI Manager, Matt Ingram has thanked the fans for helping him settle into the club. Ingram took charge from previous manager Jarod Thres last week, after Thres annouced his retirement from football management and speaking at his first managerial press conference at his new club, Ingram thanked the fans for a welcome reception to the Northamptonshire based club.

When a club the size of KBA Classic XI comes calling, you cant't not accept the offer. It's a fantasic club, with great history and a wonderful future ahead of it and I hope to cement my name in the history books at this incredible club. I would like to thank the fans for giving me their backing after last season, where the club narrowly escaped relegation and can ensure them all of a successful season ahead."
Speaking about several of his players, Ingram paid tribute to several members of his squad, expressing his delight at some of his big-name players staying at the club for another year.
"I am extremely pleased that players like Wilson, Oliver, Corbishley and Thorley have decided to commit to the club for another year. They are key players in our squad and I hope they will star this season. It's going to be a busy season for us and we need to keep this players fit and playing well."
Ingram takes charge of his first game at KBA Classic XI on Wednesday 9th October against WoodGreen College and then has a challenging fixture against CSKBA Moscow two days later. Both of these fixtures will take place at home.
